DeLonghi Water Filter DLSC002 is the genuine replacement filter for a wide range of DeLonghi bean-to-cup and pump espresso machines, made to cut down limescale build-up and keep water tasting cleaner cup after cup.

Tap water naturally carries minerals and chemicals that build up inside a machine over time, leading to premature wear and a flatter tasting coffee. This filter uses activated carbon and ion-exchange technology to trap those unwanted chemicals and reduce scale, which helps the machine maintain a steady brew temperature and keeps the flavour consistent. Using it regularly can cut the need for descaling by around 20%.

It’s compatible with a broad range of models, including the ECAM, ETAM and ESAM series, EC680, EC800, EC685, EC9335, BCO410, BCO420 and BCO430, so it covers most household DeLonghi machines. Fitting it is straightforward too, simply pre-soak the filter, pop it into the water tank, and it’s ready to go. Each filter typically lasts around two months or 60 litres of water before it needs replacing.
