GC Fuji IX GP Extra is a packable glass ionomer restorative available in normal and fast-set options, designed for efficient posterior restorations. It is ideal for permanent or temporary Class I and II restorations in children, non-load-bearing restorations in adults, Class V and root surface restorations, and core build-ups. The material provides high wear resistance with intrinsic adhesion to enamel and dentine, eliminating the need for etching, bonding, or rubber dam use. Its single-step placement and compatibility with metal matrices ensure easy handling and accurate contouring. Good radiopacity allows clear postoperative diagnosis, while excellent biocompatibility ensures patient safety. Fuji IX GP Extra also offers enhanced protection against decalcification.
